Yavuz Ertekin
Educational Director
Leads MARTI’s educational programs from kindergarten through university.
Passionate about raising future generations, Yavuz is dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences that foster academic excellence, character development, and leadership.
His commitment to education began during his undergraduate years as a volunteer mentor and college guidance counselor, where he discovered the lasting impact that mentorship can have on young people’s lives. While studying International Relations at George Mason University, he founded LeadUp, a student-led initiative focused on high school leadership, volunteerism, and community service. Through the program, students organized local volunteer projects and fundraising campaigns to support underprivileged communities, developing both leadership skills and a spirit of service.
Following graduation, Yavuz served as Program Coordinator at Pinnacle Academy from 2020 to 2023 before joining MARTI in 2023. In his current role, he works closely with students, families, mentors, and educators to build comprehensive educational programs that support students from early childhood through their university journey.
Committed to lifelong learning, Yavuz is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at SSBM Geneva, with a research focus on educational leadership and innovation. His vision is to help cultivate generations of confident, compassionate, and purpose-driven leaders who positively impact their communities and the world.
